About me:

                   i am a budding researcher who is always looking for challenges, willing to try lot of new stuffs and hates the monotonous. am working as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DST- SERB ECR project under Dr. Thanga Suja Srinivasan, Scientist-C.

  • Detoxification studies on caterpillar 

  • Biotic and Abiotic stress related studies on Oryza Sativa

Technical Skills
Molecular techniques:

                           Isolation of DNA, RNA and protein, Agarose Gel Electrophoresis, Polyacrylamide Gel Agarose Electrophoreis, Blotting techniques, ELISA, PCR Techniques (Semi-quantitative PCR, Reverse Transcriptase PCR, Colony PCR and Gradient PCR).

                  Gene cloning, sequencing and annotation
Plant Tissue Culture:

                           Media preparation, Callus Induction, Subculturing.
Microbiology:

                           Media preparation, Isolation of microbes from different inhabitant, Obtaining pure cultures and maintenance, Biochemical analysis, 16s rRNA sequencing.
Computational skills:

                           Basic computer skills, MS Office.
